Core HVAC Upgrade

The scope of this project included the replacement of four existing downflow chilled water Data Aire CRAHs with four new downflow Liebert CRAHs in an existing equipment room over raised floor.

The replacement was phased out one unit at a time in order to maintain redundancy throughout the entire construction process. Once all units were replaced, the entire building’s airside and waterside systems were tested, adjusted, and balanced to accommodate the increased cooling capacity of the new CRAHs.

In addition to replacement of the existing CRAHs, we added return air VESDA and new control points to the existing BMS.
