The main objective of this project was to replace three existing CRAH units with larger units that are to be configured to operate in Teamwork Mode 2 and be interfaced with the existing Alerton BAS for monitoring/alarms. This included new chilled water piping mains that connect to the existing chilled water system.
In addition to replacement of the CRAH units, the existing supply air duct plenum was demolished and replaced with new ductwork to accommodate increased airflows. New cold aisle containment was added, and the fire alarm panel was reprogrammed to account for continuous mixing with gaseous agent during a fire event.
