Telecom Datacenter Uplift
This project consisted of converting approximately 4,000 SF of existing switch room and storage space to a network equipment and AC power room. The existing utility remained in place and other modifications were required to the existing switchgear to move away from a fused switch lineup to a modified breaker. To further support the increased demand and redundancy, a second utility with a 2,500 kVA transformer and a 1.5MW standby generator were installed. In addition to AC power upgrades, this project includes the installation of new Vertiv CRACs and condensers, building automation, fire detection and suppression systems, as well as security upgrades.
Inside the network space, we installed a new raised access floor, hot aisle containment, and structured ceiling. The existing people space underwent a complete renovation as well including a new office space, control room, bathrooms, and breakroom. These renovations included a new layout and all new finishes.
