Telecom Datacenter Uplift
Upgrades to office spaces, corridors, restrooms and the break room were included as part of this 11,600 SF interior renovation. Construction also includes two new 4000 amp capacity electrical rooms and a new 3,200 SF switch room with a Tate structured ceiling, Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) and 6 Vertiv CRAC units. Upgrades to the BAS and security systems provide system monitoring and access control. A new fire protection system with Novec 1230, Pre-action and VESDA provides protection to the building.
A new equipment yard is furnished with two fully enclosed 2 MW standby generators, two portable generator tap boxes (PGTB), two sets of medium voltage switch gears and two new utility transformers. This site is prepped for expansion, with the capability to be upgraded to 3MW generators in the future. Equipment is fed by two new fiber entries and two new 2,500 KW utility feeds, which can be upgraded in the future. A new 6’ perimeter fence provides security for the equipment yard.
Outside of the equipment yard, the entirety of the 16,800 SF roof was replaced as part of this project and a new 2,800 SF rooftop mechanical platform was constructed. Additional exterior improvements include a landscaping and new pavement.
