Switch Room Upgrades

The purpose of the project was to remove an existing wall and relocate existing Building Automation System (BAS) equipment cabinets. The work occured in stages to allow for the existing BAS panels to be relocated to the east wall of the combined new network space.

New finishes were installed in areas where demolition affected the adjacent finishes. This work included painting, vinyl wall base, vinyl composition floor tile and gypsum board finishing.

Ductwork grille demolition and replacement was executed one location at a time so as to minimize disruption to the cooling systems. Additional minor ductwork modifications were also made to improve supply air distribution in the new combined switch room and existing switch room B.
